Blurring out from losing your focus from sharpness to mixture of polychromatic colors.
Learning to paint is actually not something one needs to learn. ART - according to me is definitely not something that can be learnt , you can always get good at it, improve it and make it even more better everytime. But, we never try to discover ourselves.
Get lost , Get creative, Discover your blurring & blending point. The point where you see nothing beyond it, nothing behind it, everything pauses and you just hold on with your pencil and brush ready to create a masterpiece never seen before, something of your own, unique and eternal.
As a neophyte, you always run behind perfection of your art. Getting each line & curve perfect. Afraid of making it more dark or more vibrant. Afraid of making it more creative because of this crawling thought of messing up things. Comparing yourself to other artists out there who you think are the better & the best and thinking you can never reach their level.
Well my dear young connoisseur, don't underestimate that 86 billion neurons complex organ sitting behind your skull awaiting to dive into the multiverse of creativity.
Your little brain behind that cranium has the potentiality to go beyond this macrocosm and see the never seen before.
No thinking twice before drawing any lines on your art board & not drawing any lines on your imagination are the 2 rules you need to follow if you really want to get the awe-inspiring and elysian painting you aspire to get.
Within my observation period , i have seen that the novice artists who try drawing say for example, 'Potraits'. We as beginners often try to color it by thinking that we are drawing a person, we are focused at the face and don't wanna get our creativity in the way of our coloring process. Forget you are drawing a face.
When it comes to me, I don't see the cheeks or the lips or the eyes once i have completed my rough sketch. Once i start with the color filling process, it's nothig but a canvas to be filled with those spectacular eye striking colors. My vision is blurred & i don't see any lines all i see is the colors in my reference image and getting those on my canvas & nothing else. That's how i have managed to get the perfect potraits wihout the fear of making mistakes.
When you start applying this technique you start enjoying the process and get more and more creative person and fall in love with colors like any other artistic chromatophilia person.
One interesting fact is that color blinds are also great artists.
The greatest artist of all time Mr. Vincent Van Gogh himself suffered from Protanopia, the most common type of colour blindness. Color blindness atually adds to Van Gogh's mystique.
The obvious question now would be how can we paint colors if we don't see them in the first place. But, as i said i don't see details i blur out into colors & with colors i also mean the shades, one must be abe to differentiate shades instead of shapes. Once you start observing shades , the entire process becomes soothing and that's when art turns into therapy.
Tetrachromats have one extra type of cone that allows them to see a fourth dimensionality of colors. While I always wished to have Tetrachromacy & enjoy more of the amazing cosmic vividity.
But, i always thank the supreme lord to bless me with the power of art & imagination.
So don't waste your 86 billion neurons on some toxic person by investing your time and adding efforts. Instead add the same efforts and use that precious time by using your billions of neurons to dive deep into the imaginary word and create something unbelievable and unforgettable.
Because here in Art, making mistakes would give you something more beautiful creating a masterpiece to be remembered for centuries.
Keep creating !
& never stop seeing beyond the lines and blending into the colors of life.
THANK YOU !
